Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic confirms he is ‘ready to go’

Christian Pulisic’s Chelsea spell

After agreeing a deal in January of 2019, Christian Pulisic finally joined up with Chelsea this past summer.

Pulisic had a slightly slow start to life in England, failing to score in his first four Premier League appearances.

However, the American began to hit top form at the back end of October, netting a hat-trick in Chelsea’s 4-2 victory over Burnley.

Pulisic would then score in Chelsea’s proceeding two league ties vs Watford and Crystal Palace whilst also putting in some quality displays in the Champions League for the Blues.

Christian Pulisic provides update

Pulisic’s goal contributions would begin to dry up though and his season was then curtailed by injury.

And the winger has now missed the capital giants’ last eight Premier League clashes.

But before the season was halted due to COVID-19, Frank Lampard confirmed in early March that Pulisic had taken part in an in-house tie:

“We had an in-house game in which Ruben and Christian took part in.

“It’s great to see Christian get minutes… a big step forward. I just watched it but I’ll find out how it went after.” As quoted by football.london.

Now, as per the Evening Standard, in an Instagram live video, the 21-year-old stated he is ready to go and misses playing:

“I’m feeling ready to go. I’m feeling good. I miss playing.”  As quoted by the Evening Standard.

Chelsea have also recently provided a positive update on another of their wingers, Callum Hudson-Odoi.
