Manchester United’s deal for Swansea’s Daniel James is almost done

Manchester United & Swansea’s Daniel James

Unless something goes incredibly wrong in the final talks, Manchester United’s first signing of the summer is set to be Swansea’s Daniel James.

The Daily Mail are already telling their readers that Man United have “agreed” the Daniel James deal.

Of course, the Mail appear to be jumping the gun as neither Man United or Swansea have confirmed the transfer.

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that James is poised to complete his move to Old Trafford. He said the ‘deal (is) not done yet but will be soon.’

It’s believed Man United will pay 15 million pounds for the Welsh winger.

Who is Daniel James?

21-year-old Daniel James is one of the quickest players around.

A Welsh international, James is a right-footed speedster who played down the left for Swansea in the Championship.

In 33 matches for Swansea last season, James scored four goals and chipped in with seven assists.

When you look at a showreel of James it’s easy to see what’s about to happen.

Positioned on the left, James always seems keen on taking on his opponent and using his pace to his advantage.

Yet, while James may be a little predictable, stopping him is a whole different matter.
