76ers Rumors: Philadelphia Tried to Hire Bob Myers After Bryan Colangelo Scandal

The Philadelphia 76ers reportedly tried to hire Bob Myers away from the Golden State Warriors after general manager Bryan Colangelo resigned in June 2018 following a Twitter scandal.

On Tuesday, Marc Stein of the New York Times reported the Sixers “commissioned a clandestine run” at Myers but couldn’t lure him away from the NBA‘s current gold standard organization.
