As per a report from German outlet SportBild, Liverpool and Juventus are among the clubs eyeing the signature of Bayer Leverkusen star Julian Brandt.

Brandt’s rise to stardom

Brandt, a versatile midfielder who can also play on the wing, has spent his entire career to date on Leverkusen’s books.

After first breaking into the first-team setup of Die Werkself as a raw starlet during the 2013/14 campaign, Brandt has since gone on to establish himself as one of the most highly-regarded young players in Germany over the seasons since.

The technically-gifted 22-year-old possesses a number of impressive attributes, with the German’s creative spark, eye for goal and wand of a right foot having allowed him to rack up an impressive 7 goals and 11 assists across all competitions to this point in the current campaign.

Liverpool bound?

And, as per the aforementioned report from SportBild, Brandt’s stellar showings at the BayArena have certainly not gone unnoticed across Europe.

All of Liverpool, Juventus and Real Madrid are rumoured to be eyeing a cut-price summer deal for the midfielder.

Bild claim that Brandt’s release clause is set to drop to 25 million Euro this summer.

As such, the talent and room for growth possessed by the 24-time capped German international have seen all 3 clubs express an interest in activating Brandt’s clause at the end of the season.
