The Mirror’s report claims that Barcelona are planning a £100 million move for Rashford in the summer.

United are currently in the process of renewing his contract, but talks have now been ongoing for several months.

The 13-time Premier League champions have offered £300k-per-week in a desperate bid to keep hold of him.

The 21-year-old has just one year remaining on his current deal and Barca are looking to take advantage.

It is understood that former Liverpool forward Philippe Coutinho is likely to be sold to help finance a move.

Their La Liga rivals Real Madrid are also keen on signing the youngster.

Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez returned to Old Trafford on Wednesday to haunt his old foe, Manchester United.

His header at the back post was diverted past David De Gea by Luke Shaw to give Barcelona the lead heading back to the Nou Camp.
