Alli & Lamela: Tottenham injury update before Man City

Man City vs Tottenham

Tottenham travel to Manchester City on Wednesday in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Spurs came out on top in the first leg, picking up a 1-0 win thanks to a 78th-minute strike from Heung-Min Son.

Tottenham also smashed Huddersfield 4-0 in their latest league game this past weekend.

As for Man City, their league form is as positive as ever but they once again look like they are struggling in the big UCL ties.

After facing off on Wednesday the pair will meet once again this weekend in a key Premier League tie for both sides.

Spurs injury update

Heading into the Champions League game with City, Spurs have also been handed some positive injury news.

Both Dele Alli and Erik Lamela sat out the 4-0 thrashing of Championship bound Huddersfield on Saturday due to injuries.

However, the duo trained on Tuesday and are available for assessment prior to Wednesday’s game.

Alli was also seen training with a cast, which he is said to have forgotten about relatively quickly during the session.

On a more negative note, Spurs will be without Harry Kane, Harry Winks, Eric Dier and Serge Aurier vs City.
