Crystal Palace star man Wilfried Zaha will not feature in his side’s crucial FA Cup quarter-final matchup with Watford this afternoon.

The Eagles have travelled to Vicarage Road for the first of the weekend’s cup ties, set to kick-off at 12:15pm.

Hosts Watford booked their place in the final-8 of the tournament courtesy of a 1-0 win at Championship outfit QPR on the 14th of February.

Palace, meanwhile, put Doncaster to the sword by 2 goals to nil in their own FA Cup last-16 outing.

The capital outfit have since gone on to enjoy a largely-mixed run of form, having picked up a pair of wins and a pair of losses in their last 4 Premier League outings.

Zaha blow

Encouragingly for Palace ahead of their latest matchup this afternoon, though, is the fact that both of their league victories over recent weeks came away from Selhurst Park.

However, in a massive blow to the prospects of Roy Hodgson’s men, official confirmation of the club’s starting XI at Vicarage Road has seen Wilfried Zaha miss out:

Reports began to emerge last night that Ivorian international Zaha had picked up a calf injury in training, with it having since been confirmed that the problem has ruled the explosive wide-man out this afternoon:
