Man United’s turn around under Solskjaer

Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as Man United boss, their season has undergone a complete overhaul.

When Jose Mourinho was sacked in December it looked very unlikely that United would make it into a Champions League place.

However, under OGS, Man United have now played 13 Premier League games, winning 10, drawing two and losing one.

As a result, the Red Devils are now just three points behind 3rd place Tottenham. They are also just two points behind 4th place Arsenal.

United also completed a superb comeback vs PSG in the Champions League, putting them into the UCL quarter-final.

OGS on the areas United must strengthen

After his excellent start as United interim boss, rumours are circulating that OGS could be made permanent Man United manager during the international break.

Now, according to Metro, Solskjaer has already held a meeting with United’s board to share his ideas about where they should strengthen in the summer.

According to the Metro, Solskjaer wants to sign a right-back, left-back, right winger and an attacking midfielder.

The right-back and left-back spot are not too surprising. Because Ashley Young is now 33 and Antonio Valencia will be leaving the club in the summer.

Also, with Juan Mata now ageing and Manchester United having no real out and out right winger, the strengthening of the right wing and attacking midfielder spot is also probably a wise choice.
