Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich vs Liverpool prediction

After City slaughtered Schalke, Pep Guardiola was asked for his thoughts before the Bayern Munich vs Liverpool game.

Unsurprisingly, Guardiola is hoping that Bayern will get through to the next round.

Before joining Man City, Guardiola spent three years with the Bavarians.

However, when it came to actually offering a prediction, Pep refused to rule Liverpool out:

I want Bayern, sorry for the English people.

I am big fan of this club and I love Munich and all the people, I would like Bayern to go through but it will not be easy. It is so demanding a game for both.

In terms of what happened with German teams, last decade the Spanish teams control everything with Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico arriving many times in the finals.

Now Real and Atletico is out. Hopefully Barcelona go through. For English football it is incredible, three teams and maybe Liverpool.
