Fears Gonzalo Higuain may miss Dynamo Kiev & Everton

Chelsea & Gonzalo Higuain

Gonzalo Higuain has made a decent start at Chelsea.

The 31-year-old Argentine striker is on loan at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season.

Prior to joining Chelsea, Higuain was on loan at AC Milan from Juventus.

Higuain has scored three goals in six Premier League matches so far.

Chelsea remain in the race for the top four place in the league.

The Blues are only four points behind third place Tottenham. Chelsea also have a game in hand over their rivals, including Arsenal and Man United.

Dynamo Kiev & Everton

It’s another busy week for Chelsea.

On Thursday night the Blues take on Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League.

Chelsea head to the Ukraine with a 3-0 lead from the first leg.

On Saturday, Everton host the Blues in the Premier League.

‘Higuain is ill & missed training’

Chelsea fans are now sweating over the health of Higuain.

That’s after the Chelsea Echo released a nugget of information after they attended a ‘meet the players’ event on Tuesday. It was reported:

As we made our way to the function room (Stamford Bridge in full view) one of the ‘Bridge Team’ informed us that Gonzalo Higuain would not be attending as he was ill and missed training today.

If Higuain is even just slightly under the weather, you’d expect the South American will miss the match away against Dynamo Kiev.

Chelsea will be hoping that Higuain is fit for Everton, as that’s a huge match in their hopes for clinching a top four finish.
