Watford injury update ahead of FA Cup clash with QPR

QPR vs Watford

Watford are set to travel to QPR on Friday for an FA Cup 5th round tie.

The Hornets made it to the 5th round by beating Woking 2-0 in the 3rd round and Newcastle 2-0 in the 4th round.

Watford currently sit 8th in the Premier League but their form has been somewhat inconsistent.

They did pick up a 1-0 win in their last game vs Everton but before that they had failed to win their last three outings.

As for QPR, they beat Leeds United 2-1 in the third round and Portsmouth 2-0 in a 4th round replay.

While QPR are doing well in the FA Cup, their league form is dismal.

They are currently 16th in the Championship and have lost their last five league matches.

Watford injury update

Heading into the game with out of form QPR, Javi Gracia has given an injury update on his Watford side.

Roberto Pereyra has missed Watford’s last two league games due to injury but the Argentine could return at the weekend, as could Sebastian Prodl.

“We’ll decide tomorrow if they are options to play or not.”

While Pereyra is likely to feature, Watford will be without both Isaac Success and Kiko Femenia.
