Can Tottenham knock Borussia Dortmund out the Champions League for a second season running?

Spurs will host the current Bundesliga leaders at Wembley tonight.

Tottenham come into the BVB game after three wins on the bounce.

Those wins have coincided with Son Heung-min’s return to action following his stint at the Asian Cup.

At the same time, Harry Kane and Dele Alli have been out for Spurs with injuries.

Neither Kane nor Alli are expected to be named in Tottenham’s matchday squad on Wednesday.

Chelsea & Arsenal

After the Dortmund match, Spurs travel to Burnley’s Turf Moor on Saturday in the Premier League.

After that Tottenham face matches against Chelsea (a) and Arsenal (h) in the league.

At the time of writing, Spurs are third in the table, Arsenal are fifth while Chelsea are in sixth.

Harry Kane & Dele Alli’s injury boost

The Telegraph report today that Harry Kane and Dele Alli are in line to make their Tottenham comebacks soon:

Kane could play against Chelsea and Arsenal in the league before facing Dortmund, while Alli, who is back training in the gym, is expected to recover from his hamstring injury for the return leg of this finely-poised tie against the Bundesliga leaders,

Jan Vertonghen also gave positive updates on Kane and Alli on Tuesday.

The Belgian told the press the following:

We know a couple of the guys will come back after the first leg as well. It’s a tough fixture for us but we’ve shown last year we can beat everyone.
