Man United’s Paul Pogba sent off vs PSG

Man United lost 2-0 at home to PSG in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Are the Red Devils out of the competition?

Not only did United lose the match, they also finished the game with just ten men.

That’s after Paul Pogba collected a second yellow card for a poor tackle on Dani Alves.

Pogba could have little complaint about his dismissal, as he raked his studs down Alves’ shin.

The French World Cup winner will now be banned for the return leg in Paris.

There’s little sympathy for Pogba after his red card.

Instead, some are accusing the Man United midfield of a failure to learn how to tackle.

Pogba has previous went it comes to possible leg-breaking challenges for United.

Two incidents come to mind.

Back in December 2017, during an Arsenal vs Man United Premier League clash, Pogba was sent off in similar circumstances.

On that occasion Pogba was given his marching order for a nasty foul on Hector Bellerin.

Earlier this season, Pogba could have been sent off against Tottenham.

In January, Pogba was booked after catching on Dele Alli with a high tackle.

Pogba’s foot was above Alli’s knee and could have done some serious damage.
