Newcastle fans are furious that Wolves’ Willy Boly has screwed them twice this season

Wolves 1 – Newcastle 1

Wolves picked up a point against Newcastle United on Monday night, but it was controversial.

Newcastle took to lead at Molinuex through Isaac Hayden ten minutes into the second half.

However the home side levelled with the last kick of the game.

Willy Boly headed the ball over the goal-line in a hugely questionable goal for Wolves.

Willy Boly’s goal vs Newcastle

There were several critical problems with Boly’s equaliser for Wolves.

Firstly, it came after the four minutes allotted for second half added time expired.

Why didn’t referee Graham Scott end the game on time?

However more egregious was Boly’s foul on Newcastle keeper Martin Dubravka.

The Wolves centre-half clearly impeded the Magpies stopper with his arms.

How did the officials miss the blatant foul?

Second time Willy Boly has upset Newcastle

When the sides met at St James’ Park earlier in the season, Wolves beat Newcastle 2-1 in the Premier League.

DeAndre Yedlin was sent off on that occasion for the Toon, while Boly avoided a booking in another controversial moment.

Up on Tyneside, Boly clocked Ayoze Perez with an elbow to his face.

Once again the Wolves defender got away with a foul.

Social media reactions

It’s fair to say Newcastle fans don’t like Willy Boly.
