Manchester United broke into the Premier League top four on Saturday at Fulham.

The Red Devils beat Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s unbeaten run continued as United’s interim boss.

Under Solskjaer, Man United have 10 wins and a draw.

Paul Pogba was once again Man United’s standout player at Fulham.

The French World Cup winning midfielder scored twice against the Cottagers. Pogba now has 10 Premier League goals this season, while eight of those have been scored since Solskjaer’s appointment.

Anthony Martial, who recently agreed a new long term deal with United, also scored a superb solo goal.

Jim Solbakken & Avram Glazer

Man United fans will no-doubt have noted that owner Avram Glazer was in attendance for the Fulham match.

This is the first time Avram Glazer has shown up for a game since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho.

Glazer was sat next to Ed Woodward in the stands at Craven Cottage.

However the American businessman also met Solskjaer’s agent, Jim Solbakken, during the game.

Is this a sign that Solskjaer is being primed to be Man United’s next full-time manager?

The Times stop short of saying OGS will definitely get the job. However the broadsheet believes Solskjaer “is edging closer to becoming the club’s permanent manager.”

Why was Jim Solbakken at Fulham?

It’s also worth noting that agent Jim Solbakken had a couple of other interests during the Fulham vs Man United game.

Fulham signed Havard Nordtveit on loan from Hoffenheim in the January window.

Nordtveit is a client of Solbakken.

Moreover, Solbakken took another client, Aston Villa keeper Ørjan Håskjold Nyland, to the Fulham match against United.
