Mo Salah’s brilliant gesture to James Milner after Bournemouth

Bournemouth 0 Liverpool 4

Liverpool faced Bournemouth in Saturday’s early kick-off as they looked to go top of the table, for a few hours at least.

Liverpool were unbeaten in their previous 15 Premier League games this season, winning 12 and drawing three.

However, they were two points behind league leaders Manchester City who play Chelsea in one of two late kick-offs on Saturday.

Bournemouth went into this game 7th in the league and on the back of their best start to a Premier League season.

However, Bournemouth had to face Liverpool without their star forward Callum Wilson who was out with an injury.

Without Wilson Bournemouth caused Liverpool very few real problems and Eddie Howe’s side would lose 4-0.

Mo Salah’s brilliant gesture

Mohamed Salah would put Liverpool 1-0 up inside 25 minutes, even if he was offside for the goal.

The Egyptian would bag his and Liverpool’s second shortly after half-time.

Steven Cook would put the ball into his own net in the 68th minute before Mo Salah bagged his third and Liverpool’s 4th late on.

After a superb display vs Bournemouth, Mo Salah was awarded the Sky man of the match.

However, in a very classy gesture, Salah would refuse the award and give it to James Milner.

Milner started vs Bournemouth in what was his 500th appearance in the Premier League with Salah deciding to honour Milner with his award.
