Bournemouth vs Liverpool

Bournemouth host Liverpool in the early kick-off on Saturday as they look to continue pushing for a Europa League spot.

The Cherries currently sit 7th in the Premier League and are enjoying their best start to a top-flight season, despite losing four of their last five games.

However, Bournemouth would get back to winning ways during the week as they beat Huddersfield 2-1.

As for Liverpool, they head into the weekend’s games 2nd in the league, unbeaten in their first 15 games for the Premier League season and just two points off top spot.

Callum Wilson out injured

As is customary, Bournemouth’s team news was released an hour before the game was set to kick-off.

However, in today’s team sheet, there was one notable omission.

That was that Callum Wilson was not in the starting eleven or subs with Eddie Howe confirming he is out injured:

“Callum has a slight hamstring issue, which we don’t think is too bad but he misses this week. It’s a big blow but Junior comes in, who is a very good player and will give us a lot of quality.”

Wilson has been in superb form this season playing 15, scoring eight and assisting six in the league.

As a result, he will be a huge miss for the Cherries. This has caused many fans to take to Twitter to express their sadness.
