Wenger wins again

Arsene Wenger has picked up the League Managers’ Association Service to Football Award.

It marks yet another personal award for the Frenchman after leaving Arsenal in May.

Wenger collected the award – given to him by Gareth Southgate, and made a great quip.

He joked that leaving the Gunners was clearly key for him – given he’s won numerous awards since walking out the door.

Wenger seemed in great spirits, and looked a far cry from the stressed figure that walked the touchline at the Emirates over the last few seasons he was there.

It’s been six months since Wenger left Arsenal, and rumours are growing that he could return to the game.

It seems that Bayern Munich won’t be his next destination, with the club denying those reports.

Wenger is thought to want a role behind the scenes rather than actual touchline management.

His former club Arsenal are doing well without him.
