Pogba not listening anymore

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has responded to his critics and also claimed he aims to be “among the best players in the world”.

The Frenchman has not had the greatest of seasons so far and may well have fallen out with Jose Mourinho.

Pogba was seen arguing with the Manchester United boss in training.

There have been times this season where he has looked like the player that helped France to their second World Cup trophy over the summer.

Though, there have been others where he has come in for criticism.

Now, he’s been speaking about his critics and how he doesn’t even listen to them anymore.

“I remain human like everyone else”

He has claimed that while it is better to hear praise, he doesn’t listen to critics anymore.

“I remain human like everyone else,” he explained in an interview with Le Figaro.

“The critics, I hear them since I was little. I do not listen to them anymore.

“They are people who do their job, I can never take that away from them and I have to be good on the pitch.

“It is always better to hear praise, to say that I continue to work rather than I became lazy. Like everyone else, I prefer compliments to critics. I’m still very hungry.”

“I hope to be an example to many people. Everything I have, God has given me, but it is not for me to keep it for myself.

“My education and religion have taught me things like helping one another, respecting others, delivering a good message.”

Pogba outlines his goals

Pogba also revealed that he aims to be “among the best players in the world”.

Not only that, he has listed the trophies he is looking to win.

“What am I dreaming of? The Premier League, the Champions League, the Euros, being among the best players in the world,” he continued.

“I want to mark the history of football. To be even more decisive, to score more goals.”
