It will be the news that every Chelsea fan was desperate to hear.

Speaking to Sky Sports on Tuesday, Eden Hazard has revealed he has no ambitions to leave Stamford Bridge in January.

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Hazard pledges his future, for now

Finding the net against Southampton last weekend, many have the Belgium winger tipped as the best player in Europe at the moment.

Leading his nation to a Bronze medal finish in Russia, Hazard has carried on his form at the start of the new Premier League season.

With six goals to his name, Chelsea’s talisman now sits two clear at the top of the goalscoring charts.

There is no doubt that Hazard is a key part of Maurizio Sarri’s push for a return to Champions League football.

Hazard threw his future in West London into some doubt earlier in the week when he announced he was torn between a potential move to the Spanish capital.

“I wake up in the morning and think I want to go. Sometimes I think I want to stay.”

However, when he was quizzed on his future once again, the former Lille man gave a simple “no” when asked if he would leave Chelsea come January.

Appearing to relish the style Sarri has brought to Chelsea, Hazard also insists the team has helped him take his game to the next level.

“Of course we can improve, we can always improve in football. We can score more goals, get more assists, I think the team is helping me a lot also so yeah I can improve for sure.”

Hazard’s current contract in SW6 is set to expire at the end of the 2019/2020 season.

Hazard’s Ballon d’Or dream

While he has ruled out leaving in January, a potential dream move to Los Blancos is not off the table yet.

With his sights set of lifting the Ballon d’Or, Hazard has also stated that a move to Madrid could help him achieve that ambition.

“That’s why I want to go, maybe.”

Looking to fill to Cristiano Ronaldo shaped void at the Bernabeu, Madrid have struggled at the start of the new season.

Along with losing the Super Cup to bitter rivals Atletico, they are now without a win in their last four matches.

More worrying for new boss Julen Lopetegui, his side have failed to find the net in any of those four outings.

Madrid’s slow start to the season could see them only become more adamant on securing Chelsea’s main man.
