The Reds’ hot form continues: Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Liverpool

The Reds ran riot at Wembley Stadium to maintain their perfect start to the season.

Jurgen Klopp’s side overcame their toughest test so far – passing with flying colours by brushing Spurs aside.

Michel Vorm’s error from a corner and his inability to prevent Georginio Wijnaldum’s header from crossing the line gifted Liverpool the lead just before the interval.

Roberto Firmino was the player to double their lead tucking home from close range after 54 minutes.

Erik Lamela netted Tottenham a late consolation and to help produce a rather flattering scoreline for his side’s display.
