Bad news for Sergio Aguero after Man City 3 – Fulham 0

Man City 3 – Fulham 0

Manchester City have four wins and a draw after their opening five matches of the season.

The Sky Blues recorded a relatively comfortable 3-0 win on Saturday over Fulham.

Fulham are 15th in the league after the loss. The Cottagers have four points on the board after five games.

Leroy Sane returned to the City XI, and the German opened the scoring inside two minutes. David Silva doubled the lead in the 21st minute.

Fulham were dead and buried at the start of the second half when Raheem Sterling added a third.

Sergio Aguero injured vs Fulham

Argentine striker Sergio Aguero failed to find the target against the Cottagers.

Aguero did notch two assists in the match.

However the South American was forced out of the game early in the second half through injury.

Brazilian centre-forward Gabriel Jesus was the replacement.

Aguero injury timetable & Champions League

Man City return to Champions League action this midweek.

The reigning Premier League champs are the favourites with the bookies to win the competition.

But will Pep Guardiola have to start the tournament without Aguero?

After the game reports confirmed that Aguero has an ankle injury.

City take on Lyon at the Etihad on Wednesday, while Aguero is a doubt for that match.

Next weekend the Sky Blues take on Cardiff in Wales.
