Plenty of good news for Everton

Everton have been handed an injury boost ahead of their clash with West Ham after Marco Silva revealed several players have returned to training.

The Toffees had a very long list of injury doubts for the game.

With West Ham not having a single point this season, Everton are looking to capitalise on that but will need all their players fit.

Now, boss Marco Silva has given an update on their injured players and there is some very good news.

Injury boosts all around

Silva has confirmed that Seamus Coleman will miss the game and Michael Keane will also miss the game after his head injury against but a host of players have trained this week who looked to be a doubt for the game.

Yerry Mina, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Theo Walcott, Idrissa Gueye and Bernard have all trained at some point this week.

“Seamus is out of the match,” Silva explained in his press conference today.

“Our medical staff will make a report after the press conference or maybe tomorrow, but it is maybe one or two weeks; nothing more.”

“Yes, Mina started with the group today. Mina is getting fit and then he will be ready to be in the squad.

“Dominic is okay. He worked with the team since he came back yesterday.

“Walcott and Gueye are okay. It’s possible, we have one more session tomorrow and we’ll see how they are.

“Everything is okay [with Bernard]. He worked last week with the squad and this week as well.

“You know Keane is a matter of some more days. He is in good condition; he is working doing specific work.

“It is a matter of us having precautions maybe to head the ball or whatever. I think next Monday, Tuesday he will start with the team.”
