Fabinho to feature: Liverpool’s triple Brazilain boost vs Tottenham Hotspur

Fabinho is expected to be named on the bench for Liverpool’s Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Mirror.

Roberto Firmino, Alisson Becker and Fabinho have returned from international duty in the United States in time to face Spurs.

With the game taking place at 1:30am BST on Wednesday, the Reds had concerns over when the trio would arrive back at Melwood.

Fears were that the Reds’ Brazilian trio could miss Friday’s final training session due to the timing of Brazil’s clash with El Salvador.

The fixture took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning (UK time) with Brazil winning 5-0.

Goals from Neymar, Richarlison (2), Phillipe Coutinho and Marquinhos helped comfortably see off the 72nd-ranked team in the world.

However, Liverpool were facing a race against the clock to return their Samba stars to Melwood in time for training on Thursday.

The Merseyside club had a private jet deliver the trio home and all three successfully trained yesterday.

Since his arrival from AS Monaco over the summer, Fabinho is yet to make a competitive appearance for Liverpool.

For games against Crystal Palace, Brighton and Hove Albion and Leicester City, the 25-year-old wasn’t even named in the squad.

Both the player and Jurgen Klopp have spoken about how he is still adjusting to life at Liverpool.
