Man United’s left wing problem: Anthony Martial or Alexis Sanchez vs Brighton

Brighton vs Manchester United

Round two of the Premier League season sees Brighton host Man United.

Man United got off to a winning start to the 2018-19 season. Goals from Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw earned United a 2-1 win over Leicester City.

Brighton lost their opening match of the campaign away at Watford.

Roberto Pereyra was the hero for the Hornets, as he scored both goals either side of the halftime interval.

Anthony Martial or Alexis Sanchez

Man United fans are now debating who Jose Mourinho should start against Brighton.

It’s important to note that Man United have a nine day gap between the Foxes and Seagulls.

That should afford Mourinho time to welcome back his full squad. Man United shouldn’t have any more World Cup absentees by the time the Brighton game comes around.

Perhaps the biggest conversation now focusing Man United fans is whether Alexis Sanchez or Anthony Martial should start on the left-wing.

The Chilean failed to impress many United fans during the Leicester game.

Sanchez helped Man United win their penalty early on against the Foxes. But the former Arsenal forward gave away possession too cheaply in a largely careless performance.

Could Martial do better? Many supporters believe so.
