Nabil Fekir & Paulo Dybala: Liverpool transfer updates

Liverpool’s summer transfers

It’s already been a busy summer for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.

Naby Keita has joined the Reds from RB Leipzig, and Fabinho has signed on from Monaco.

But Liverpool aren’t done there. The Reds continue to be linked with attacking midfielders this summer, and it feels likely that they’ll sign at least one such player.

Stoke City’s Xherdan Shaqiri appears to be on his way to Anfield.

Yet Liverpool have been linked with Lyon’s Nabil Fekir and Juventus’s Paulo Dybala. And on Thursday there are fresh updates on both these possible Liverpool targets.

Lyon’s Nabil Fekir

It’s been on, off, on, off all summer.

But according to RMC Sport’s Loïc Tanzi, Liverpool aren’t done with their pursuit of Fekir.

In an new interview with GFFN, Tanzi has claimed that Liverpool haven’t given up on signing Fekir this summer:

What I’m sure of, is that that the saga isn’t over. Liverpool will come back for Fékir at the end of the World Cup because he’s a player that Klopp’s been interested in for a while.

I don’t what the sticking point was, whether it was a financial or medical problem, but if it had been medical, Liverpool would have stopped the transfer right there and then, but at the moment negotiations seem to be going on.

There’s a possibility that they’re using his knee as a means of paying less, but in the end, they have the money and they know he wants to come.

Juventus’s Paulo Dybala

According to Argentina’s TyC Sports, Paulo Dybala could be about to leave Juventus to join Liverpool.

Dybala’s spot with the Bianconeri has been placed into doubt after the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

The South Americans claim that Liverpool have told Dybala they want him. Liverpool are willing to spend 90 million euros to get the deal done.
