England fans praise players who did a nation proud despite World Cup exit

England

England fans are in bits tonight, as their side lost a World Cup semi-final against Croatia, and despite all the hopes and dreams the side might actually win the competition, they ended up crashing out despite being a goal to the good early on.

The players were heartbroken and in tears at the final whistle, and it was a huge amount of heartbreak for the players and the fans, it’s been a brilliant World Cup, and the players have far exceed expectations.

England fans made that very clear on social media and noted that they were so proud of the players, and really hopeful for the future.

This is such a young side and with a manager who seems to be perfect for the players and who is open, has good communication and is willing to show emotion – something England managers in the past were very reluctant to do and certainly failed with.

Harry Kane made it clear the players were gutted, and wanted to do more, but will now look to the future and want to go one better next time.
