Arsenal, Everton & West Ham all in for Mario Gotze

Premier League trio Arsenal, Everton and West Ham are all interested in signing Borussia Dortmund star Mario Gotze this summer.

The German returned from a metabolic illness last season and proved that he would still be able to make it at the top level.

He scored two goals and set up six but he was not able to impress enough to earn himself a spot in the World Cup 2018 squad, despite his incredible winner back in 2014.

With that in mind, he could be set for a move this summer with several Premier League clubs interested.

Dortmund are said to be happy to let the player go as long as they can recoup around £22million for the player.

Trio of interest

Those clubs come in the form of Arsenal, Everton and West Ham as Sky Sports revealed on Thursday.

The German midfielder has also spoken of his desire to work with Jurgen Klopp in the future.

Though, there have been no suggestions as of yet that the club feel the same way about bringing him to Anfield.

That leaves Unai Emery’s Arsenal who could be looking for a Jack Wilshere replacement, Everton under Marco Silva and a West Ham side looking to replace Manuel Lanzini.

The Argentine was ruled out of the World Cup with a horrible injury and it could even see him miss the entirety of the next Premier League season.

Safe to say, Gotze has no shortage of suitors to choose from if he does leave Dortmund this summer.
