Zlatan Ibrahimovic names two players he will have his eye on at World Cup
LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has named two players that he will be keeping an eye on during the World Cup in Russia this summer.
The Swedish striker will not be at the competition this year, having already retired from international duty.
It was rumoured that he would return to the side for one last tournament when he suggested he will be at the World Cup.
Though, that was quickly rubbished by those in the Swedish camp and the player admitted that he did not mean with the side.
Even though he will not be there, he will certainly be watching and he already has his eyes on two players.
France for the World Cup?
Those two players come in the form of French duo Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe.
Zlatan knows the former very well from his time at Manchester United when the two sparked up a partnership.
He certainly knows just how good the player could be and expects his former teammate to have a good tournament.
Though, he’s also looking at another player in the form of Kylian Mbappe who will be playing in his first World Cup.
‘I think Pogba for sure, who everybody knows is fast and skilful,’ Zlatan explained to FIFA.
‘Mbappe, an upcoming star who still has more to give to get to the top, but he will for sure arrive there.
‘There are so many players who are exciting at the moment that for sure some other star that nobody has been talking about will dominate.’
