James Milner trolls Liverpool after latest kit release

New kit

James Milner is known for his wit on social media, and ever since opening his own Twitter account, he’s been giving the beloved Boring James Milner parody some competition, so when Liverpool released images of their new kit, it didn’t come as much of a shock to see the player engaging in some banter.

He firstly noted he wasn’t embarrassed by missing out on the home kit pictures – because he assumed he’d be in the away kit ones, but after missing out on that as well, he took to Twitter and had everyone in stitches.

Next season

Looking ahead to next season, Liverpool will once again be hoping Milner is in top form – and will want to add another midfielder to the mix after a deal for Nabil Fekir fell through.

They’ve of course lost Emre Can – and have to deal with the injury to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for the first part of the season, and manager Jurgen Klopp will know simply signing Fabinho and carrying on with his current squad won’t be enough.

The squad size caused Liverpool issues at the end of the season, and it seems as though they will need to add at least a couple more players to their ranks, or risk the same thing happening again if they have to fight on multiple fronts, and injury and fatigue hit.
