Barcelona eye swap deal with Liverpool and Mo Salah

Barcelona could be about to offer Liverpool a huge deal  to land Mo Salah.

The La Liga side are growing increasingly worried Antoine Griezmann will snub them this summer and remain where he is – and they know they need an alternative.

That’s why Don Balon think they’re willing to make Liverpool an offer they would find too hard to refuse.

Apparently, Barcelona are willing to offer not only £88 million for Salah, but also Jasper Cillessen, who the Reds have been heavily linked with.

That’s a fair amount of money for a player, but the Cillessen deal could be the thing to push Liverpool into at least considering it, with the club keen to add a goalkeeper to their ranks this summer.

Loris Karius’ position is in doubt after the Champions League final, and it seems Klopp has decided Alisson and Jan Oblak are both too expensive, meaning other options have to be assessed – and with Cillessen keen to leave Barcelona this summer after deciding he’s not playing enough, that could work out for all parties involved.

Antoine Griezmann’s decision over his future is set to be the talk of the summer, with the player refusing to answer questions over where he will be come the start of the new season and the French press officer having to step in at the World Cup pressers.

It had been thought the forward was off to Barcelona, but it seems he might actually remain at Altetico Madrid, with many reports claiming he’s happy at the club and thinks they have a shot at winning trophies once again next season – and that decision has thrown Barcelona’s plans into chaos, hence the move for Salah.
