The one way Jose Mourinho has changed since leaving Chelsea

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is not the same man as he was during his time with the London club.

Now in charge at Manchester United, Mourinho has apparently changed and the main way he’s managed to do that is by throwing players under the bus – something he only did towards the end of his time at Chelsea, but does far too much at United, and it’s something he needs to stop.

That’s according to Shaka Hislop, who the Express claim has torn into Mourinho for being even worse at United than he was at Chelsea.

“You almost have no choice to talk about Jose Mourinho,” Hislop said.

“One, because he kind of demands that attention, but he’s also Manchester United manager.

“That demands a certain amount of notoriety without question.

“(But) I feel the rhetoric has changed from his time at Chelsea.

“Yes, he always kind of spoke and took the limelight onto himself, I think to distract away from his team as much as anything or certainly the players.

“But now, you see more and more he’s throwing players under the bus, which is new.

“I find it doubly distasteful.”

FA Cup

Mourinho will once again face his former club in the FA Cup final as the season draws to an end, and while he will be staying at Man United next season and possibly even beyond, Antonio Conte’s time at Chelsea is up, with the Blues boss set to depart this summer after falling out with the board and the players – and losing the support of the fans as well.
