Everyone trolls Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois after Messi destroys him twice

‘Shut them!’

Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois will be having nightmares of Lionel Messi after what he did to him in their Champions League clash tonight.

Antonio Conte’s side faced a big test at the Camp Nou as they were looking to overcome Barcelona in their own back garden to make it to the quarter-finals.

The game was expected to be dominated by a couple of figures, Lionel Messi and Eden Hazard.

Safe to say, it was the former who stole the headlines as he single-handedly destroyed the London side throughout the 90 minutes.

Record breaker

It only took 2 minutes and 8 seconds for Lionel Messi to embarrass goalkeeper Courtois who didn’t know he was in for such a bad night.

Messi looked to be at an incredible angle but he managed to nutmeg the Belgian goalkeeper to open the scoring.

Though, it was later revealed that the goal came as Messi’s fastest ever goal in his career.

For Barcelona’s second goal, it was the defenders turn to be embarrassed by Lionel Messi and he snatched possession from Cesc Fabregas, before knocking it around Andreas Christensen and César Azpilicueta before playing it across to Ousmane Dembele to score.

Then, all eyes were once again on Thibaut Courtois as Lionel Messi got his second goal of the game.

This time, it came as a carbon copy of his first, but on the right of Courtois’ net.

The Belgian had the ball put through his legs yet again as Messi made history yet again by scoring his 100th Champions League goal.

While everyone was talking about Messi and his record-breaking skills, it was Courtois who was the talking point on social media.

It’s never nice to be nutmeged in any situation but it’s particularly devastating for a goalkeeper.

Not only are you embarrassed, you also concede a goal.

Safe to say, Courtois will be looking to forget this game as soon as possible and social media won’t be letting him either.
