Man United fans are not happy with their starting lineup to face Sevilla

Supporters of Manchester United have taken to social media in their numbers to vent their frustrations this evening, following the announcement of their starting lineup to take on Sevilla.

Matchup

The two sides are set to go head to head at Old Trafford this evening, having played out a 0-0 stalemate in the first-leg of their Champions League last-16 tie in Spain 3 weeks ago.

Manchester United have been in excellent form since their disappointing showing at the Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, having earned victories over all of Chelsea, Crystal Palace and, most recently, Liverpool.

Sevilla, meanwhile, have picked up 2 wins and 2 losses from their 4 fixtures since the clash, including a harrowing 5-2 defeat at home to Atletico Madrid and a 2-0 loss to Valencia in their last outing.

Teams

The starting XIs of both sides were announced a short time ago, with Jose Mourinho having sprung a couple of surprises.

Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial are seemingly only fit enough for the bench, while Juan Mata and Scott McTominay both drop out for Jesse Lingard and, controversially, Marouane Fellaini:

Not happy

Unsurprisingly, Manchester United’s fans have since had plenty to say about their starting XI this evening, with the majority of the focus surrounding the inclusion of Marouane Fellaini.
