Man United star set to leave as family view homes abroad

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has moved closer to leaving the club after being spotted house hunting in Beverley Hills.

The forward has struggled to come back from injury since signing a new one year deal with the club, and what looked like being a miraculous recovery now seems to be anything but with the player once again trying to get back to fitness and help the side.

With the arrival of Alexis Sanchez, the inclusion of Zlatan next season seems even more unlikely, and while he may play a bit part this season, it seems everyone knows his United career is over and a move to LA Galaxy is on the cards.

LA Galaxy boss Schmid said: “If it happens, it happens, and once it happens, then we’ll give thought to it.

“Right now, it’s preparing the group that I have and preparing the group that I have to win games.

“He is a big player. Big players have an impact on your team, whether that’s Zlatan or whether that’s [Lionel] Messi or a Neymar.

“Guys like that have an impact on your team.”

New players

Mourinho looks set to once again overhaul the players in his side this summer, with the forward line only being one of the areas he’s looking at.

Michael Carrick is set to hang up his boots and that will obviously have a huge impact on the side, as will the fact that he clearly is struggling to fit Paul Pogba into the current system now Alexis Sanchez has joined, meaning the club will look to buy a holding midfielder.

Add to that the performance of the defence at times this season and it seems the United boss will be looking to get rid of at least one of Smalling and Jones, meaning he will have to replace them with top class defenders – something that summer buy Victor Lindelof clearly is not at the minute.
