Tottenham 4 – Everton 0

Tottenham put in a terrific performance on Saturday at Wembley as they steamrollered over Everton.

Spurs collected three points in a 4-0 win over the Toffees to leave them level on points with Liverpool.

South Korean forward Heung-Min Son broke the deadlock midway through the first half.

At the start of the second period Son teed up Harry Kane to double the lead.

Kane made it 3-0 and Christen Eriksen added a fourth as Mauricio Pochettino’s men ran riot.

Christian Eriksen’s amazing Spurs update

2017-18 is proving to be another great season for Eriksen at Spurs.

While his form dipped slightly in recent months, he’s still scored six times and contributed seven Premier League assists.

Eriksen will also be heading to the World Cup in Russia this summer after he almost singlehandedly dragged his nation to the finals. The Spurs star scored a hat-trick in the play-offs against Ireland.

Looking even further ahead, Eriksen’s Tottenham contract is set to expire in 2020.

Perhaps Arsenal could learn from Tottenham about how teams can keep their best players at the club.

While that’s still a relatively long time away, after the Everton game Eriksen confirmed to the Danish media that he’s ready to commit his future to Tottenham beyond that.
