Bad for Man City: Man United insiders disclose fresh Alexis Sanchez transfer updates

Man United, Man City & Alexis Sanchez

On Saturday night the rumour mill started to whirl as a fresh round of rumours linked Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez with Man United.

For months it’s been reported that Man City were leading the charge for Arsenal’s best player.

Indeed, last summer Pep Guardiola sanctioned a 60 million pound bid for the Chilean. But that bid was rejected as Arsenal failed to land a replacement.

Alexis now has less than six months remaining on his Gunners contract, and it’s crunch time.

Will he join Man United, Man City or remain at Arsenal until the summer?

Old Trafford insiders think the Arsenal star is coming

Perhaps the biggest Man United mouthpiece in the media is Duncan Castles.

Castles is often accused for his allegiances to United and their manager Jose Mourinho.

On Sunday, for the Times, Castles has reported that Man United are increasingly confidence they’ll be Man City to sign the South American star.

In what feels like a surprising line considering the financial power at the Etihad Stadium, Man City are baulking at the Sanchez deal because of Arsenal’s transfer fee demands and Sanchez’s salary costs.

Elsewhere, Man United diehard Jonathan Shrager has also focused plenty of attention on social media. That’s after he announced that Sanchez is far likelier to join Man United this January than Man City.
