Tottenham 4 – Everton 0

Spurs enjoyed themselves at Wembley on Saturday afternoon as they romped to a 4-0 win over Everton.

Heung Min Son was once again the star of the show with an inspired display for Spurs, ripping Everton to shreds down the left wing.

Son grabbed the opener from a Serge Aurier cross. And, in the second half, Spurs ran riot against Sam Allardyce’s side.

Son set up Harry Kane for an offside looking second. Eric Dier crossed for Kane to make it 3-0.

Spurs left the very best for last as Dele Alli flicked on a glorious move for Christian Eriksen to make it 4-0.

Harry Kane continues to claim impressive records

There were a couple of impressive records for Tottenham to enjoy on Saturday as well as the victory.

Harry Kane overtook Teddy Sheringham and is now Spurs’ all-time top Premier League goal scorer.

As is outlined on both videos below, Kane has a long way to go to catch Jimmy Greaves – Tottenham’s all-time league leading goal scorer, but the England man is just 24.

In addition, Heung Min Son has scored in five consecutive Premier League home games – equalling a record set by Jermain Defoe.

Son’s next Premier League home game is the small matter of Manchester United at Wembley come the end of January.

Kane, Son & Pochettino face the cameras

After Tottenham’s win over Everton, Harry Kane, Heung Min Son and Mauricio Pochettino spoke with Des Kelly of BT Sport.

The Kane and Son interview is noticeable for how the South Korean superstar hails his team mate, who he points out is younger than him,

Mauricio Pochettino jokes about all the records Kane is breaking: “Every weekend he’s celebrating something…”
