Shocker for Chelsea: N’Golo Kante’s PSG talks revealed

N’Golo Kante & PSG

A shock piece of transfer news has emerged on Saturday night from France.

When it comes to PSG inside information, ‘Paris United’ have become a go-to source in recent times.

Are reports from Paris United bulletproof? Of course not.

However they were ahead of the curve last summer as Neymar moved from Barcelona to PSG, and they’ve continued to release nuggets of information since.

And on Saturday they’ve dropped a doozy claiming Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has started talking to PSG.

What’s Kante’s Chelsea contract?

Since arriving in the Premier League with Leicester, Kante has established himself as the best defensive midfielder in England.

Incredibly Chelsea were able to sign the 26-year-old for just £32 million. That looks like a complete bargain in today’s market.

Chelsea have the French international under contract until 2021.

But how secure does that make Kante at Stamford Bridge?

With non-stop rumours that Antonio Conte is set to leave Chelsea, could Kante be looking for a return to France in the summer?

Meeting with Antero Henrique

According to Paris United, N’Goloe Kante’s agent, Karim Bouisse, has met with PSG’s sporting director Antero Henrique.

Specifically, Antero Henrique is looking to recruit a new centre-mid to succeed Thiago Motta’s role in the side.

And according to reports the parties have met on several occasions already.

But do PSG have the ability to make the deal happen? A

After splashing out huge sums on Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, it’s widely known that PSG have to sell players before they can recruit further.

If they don’t they run the risk of falling foul of UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules. In the most extreme circumstance, PSG could be banned from competing in European club competitions like the Champions League.
