Sam Allardyce absolutely savaged Everton players after Spurs (videos)

Sam Allardyce’s seriously sticky spell as Everton boss

Everton manager Sam Allardyce undoubtedly improved performances at the Merseyside club on arrival.

The Toffees benefitted from the “new manager bounce” and should still stay well safe from the relegation zone.

However, Everton’s recent form will surely have their fans worried and Allardyce was sharply critical of his side at Wembley on Saturday.

Tottenham took Everton to the cleaners at Wembley on Saturday. Sam Allardyce’s side simply could not live with the likes of Heung Min Son and Harry Kane.

Son bagged the opener, set up the second for Kane and the win was rounded off by Tottenham’s new all-time top Premier League scorer and a Christian Eriksen fourth.

Everton’s horror run of form & shots on goal

Those who watch Everton closely may well have seen this result coming.

Ever since beating Swansea on December 18, 2017, Everton have been in free fall.

Successive goalless draws with Chelsea and West Brom appeared to signal the downturn in fortunes.

Then came defeats to Bournemouth, Manchester United, Liverpool (FA Cup) and now Spurs.

The most worrying trend is that Everton have managed just two shots on target in their last five games.

“Really out of order!”

Everton fans are already calling for Allardyce to be replaced at the end of the season, and his post match interviews were noticeable today for their savagery.

Allardyce appeared on BT Sport, the Everton official social media feeds and in his press conference and did not hold back.

The former England boss did bemoan some of the offside decisions in the game. But also used phrases such as: “throw in the towel”, “disappointed in the professionalism in my players… really out of order”.
